The Gabriel Foundation which presents the Rodeo, is a non-profit organization formed in 1985 which consists of business, professional, and service people who live and work within the San Gabriel Valley. The Rodeo is a well-established charity event with a solid reputation and long time support of many respected companies. Since the inception of the Rodeo 31 years ago, the Foundation has contributed over $2 million dollars to local children in need!
Community Kids Day takes place on Friday before the Rodeo starts on Saturday. The Gabriel Foundation hosts this special day for local school children to come and experience the Rodeo. Days before the Rodeo, a booklet of information is passed out to the local school children about The Rodeo and what it meant to early settlers in California.

All Sponsors and Contributors are invited to be our guests at the “Gala Welcome Party” on Friday evening before the Rodeo. This dinner dance, sponsored by The Gabriel Foundation, is one of the most popular events and is our way of saying “thank you” to our sponsors. All Sponsors and Contributors are also listed in the program book which is inserted in the Pasadena Star News, Whittier Daily, and the San Gabriel Valley Tribune a week before the Rodeo.
